Project manager required to oversee the operational objectives of Wastewater projects as utilised for residential and commercial projects throughout New Zealand on a fixed term 12 month contract.

Based on Auckland’s North Shore this role will see you managing various wastewater treatment projects throughout New Zealand. You will have qualifications either trades or tertiary in the civil sectors with the ability to project manage several projects ranging in value from $25k to $750k concurrently.

Ideally you will have a sound working knowledge of residential, commercial drainage systems along with a strong understanding of the wastewater treatment processes associated with the drainage.

Your project management experience will have seen you exposed to the following:

  • Project planning
  • Contract documentation/administration
  • Site preparation prior to commencement
  • Ordering materials, setting up supplier agreements
  • Health and Safety
  • Subcontractor management
  • Project cost reporting and forecasting
  • Variation claims
  • Ensuring projects are delivered as per agreed timelines, budgets, quality and specifications
  • MS Word, MS Excel and MS Project

Along with the aforementioned skills you will have strong communication/organisational abilities and possess a personality that will enable you to maintain effective and professional relationships with clients, while leading and motivating site staff and subcontractors in a harmonious and productive manner.
