Sales Engineer required by our client an industry leader in the manufacture and supply of innovative Automation/Control products and solutions for industrial processes and electrical utility suppliers.

Due to staff movement an opening now exists for a Technical sales engineer to join our client’s global organization. Reporting to the Southern Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for selling the company’s extensive range of industrial electrical control products:

  • Variable speed drives, HMI’s and PLC’s

into designated sales territories. Your clients will include, OEM’s, industrial specifiers, consulting engineers, and electrical wholesalers.

While previous industrial sales experience is desirable it is not a prerequisite. An electrician or an engineer with solid experience with VSD’s, HMI and PLC programming keen to establish themselves in the industrial sales sector will be seriously considered. Your designated sales territory will be Christchurch going South.

Along with a high standard of presentation and excellent English communication skills (verbal & written) you will be a positive/confident, self-motivated individual with a strong customer focus. You shall possess a personality that will enable you to present to clients in a professional manner, with the ability to form long term business relationships with both new and existing clients.
